Okay. I recently started my master’s degree in interaction design. And something just came to mind: I’ve been doing a lot of front end work the last couple of years, but I’ve never really thought about what interaction design means specifically for us front end designers.
Interaction design is all about designing usable solutions that provide a good user experience. While this sounds all well and good, I’m kind of interested in exactly how we should approach it. How can we facilitate a good user experience? By using easy-to-read text? By using buttons that give feedback when clicked? Or by making forms that are easy to understand and submit?
As I continue my studies, I’m sure I’ll get more insight into the matter. As I do, I’ll make sure to update the blog.
